Shift dresses almost made me hate shopping.
Seriously, it sucks all the fun out of shopping. You pick the cut (which let's be honest doesn't differ much) and the color (ranging from shades of navy, black, grey and wheat *yawn*). The most exciting thing that'll ever happen to you is if you find a beautiful shade you've never seen before (like this periwinkle version or an offbeat green).
This must be why guys hate shopping. I get it now.
That was until I found this dress - it's neutral enough for the office but the white slashes and mesh shoulders give the dress an extra dimension and make you look and feel cool (pun intended) without calling too much attention to yourself. Oh and did I say it fits like a glove and is plenty elastic, perfect for quick, long strides? Because god knows we all have that one pencil skirt that we bought because it looked so beautiful on the hanger, only to never wear again because it's cut out of a stiff, restricting fabric that you can't walk in. Like it's not bad enough having short legs, I've got to fight against the fabric just to get to the water cooler? No thanks.
Have a beautiful start to the week and thank you for stopping by! :)
